The "Little Library"

The addition. this "Little Library" is believed to be unique from the other libraries under the same organization or just built by Lewes homeowners. This Little Library will focus on children and teens rather than adults. The library selections will be for grades K-12. The theme will be on diversity, building self-esteem and self-confidence, and interrelationships. There is no need for a library card for this "Little Library" as the books can be selected at any time, returned after reading, or passed along to friends. In addition, patrons can add selections as well. The Library will be monitored from time to time to ensure the appropriateness of selections in keeping with the theme, and to make sure the books are in ample supply. It is the founders' hope that parents will consider the library an extra resource for reading to their children or others or to use for book reports.
