Owen Cheevers

Over thirty years of experience in research and investments in High-Yield bonds, bank loans, distressed securities and event investments  at the following companies.

1. Merrill Lynch

Senior Managing Director and Head of High-Yield & Distressed Bond research, sales and trading at Merrill Lynch. Member of Underwriting and Bridge Loan Committees.  Mr. Cheevers  was originally hired asHead of Merrill Lynch’s High Yield Research Department. 

2. First Boston / First Chicago

Mr. Cheevers was a founding member of First Boston’s High-Yield bond department.  He was a Senior Managing Director at First National Bank of Chicago (FNBC), Head of the Private Placement and Distressed Loan Proprietary Trading Departments.  

3. Rosecliff, LLCD

   He also was a Porfolio Manager and Partner at Rosecliff, LLC., the managing entity for Robert M. Bass.

Mr. Cheevers has an MBA in International Finance from George Washington University; BSBA from the University of Denver; a Postgraduate degree from New York University in Computer Systems Design; and, a Post-Graduate Accounting Program from the University of Penn, Wharton School of Business.
